Don't Pet My Spirit

Gu Shiyu thinks he has the worst luck. He wakes up one day to find himself in a family he never knew he had, and his new relatives are all bizarre. A month after his first wife died, his biological father brought his mistress home. The mistress's child is only two months younger than him. Faced with the role of a pitiful rich-family son, Gu Shiyu has no words. If this new life is already such a mess, can’t he just run away? But then he runs into Xie, a man obsessed with fluffy things. Xie is too skilled, and Gu Shiyu can't beat him no matter how hard he tries. Later, when he feels the emotions his spirit form is sending him, the cat purrs contentedly as it enjoys itself, while also begging to be saved. Gu Shiyu closes his eyes, then finally can’t help saying, "Stop petting it! You’re going to rub all its fur off." Xie Zhiheng smiles, sets the cat in his arms down, leans over, and kisses him. "I won't pet it. I'll pet you instead." · Theme: Look beyond appearances to see the truth.
