"I always feel that if you come into this world, you ought to see the sun, to see the light, to see the stars and moon you love, to experience the warmth and coldness and vitality of human life, and to see the sincere feelings I've kept hidden in my heart all this time, never daring to put into words." This is a prequel to The Dream of Shen Shang, set earlier in the timeline. The two stories share some characters, but their plots are unrelated and can be read separately. GL romance. Slow updates.
Theme: You only get one life, so you ought to do something to defy fate.
