The story is complete.
My new novel, "Uh-Oh, My Nemesis Is Taking Me Seriously [Esports]," is now open for follows. The blurb is below.
Popular LOL streamer Xing Han is handsome and playful, and great at carrying girls to victory. He does have one peculiar habit: running his mouth about Ye Lincheng.
Esports heartthrob Ye Lincheng is aloof and taciturn on camera, with a frosty demeanor. One day, while playing ranked on his little sister's account, he meets a small-time streamer who is always trash-talking him. The streamer kindly offers to carry him. Ye Lincheng has no idea what came over him, but he uses a voice changer and pretends to be a girl.
Their gaming routine from then on:
One second, the streamer is insulting Ye Lincheng; the next, he's strutting like a peacock, hoping to hear him call him "big brother."
"Girl" Ye Lincheng: You trash-talk me and flirt with me? What kind of carbon-based life-form does that?
Once, when the game was going badly, the streamer was egged on by his viewers and made a bold claim: "There's no way we lose this one. If we do, I'll marry this girl!"
But they lost, and Ye Lincheng received a flood of friend requests from viewers saying, "Hello, sister-in-law."
Ye Lincheng: ...
Want another chance to say that?
#Eat whatever you want, but don't get the CP pairing backwards#
Later, Ye Lincheng hinted to his fans on his fan page: You could learn from other fandoms.
His fans were completely baffled.
One clever fan, utterly deadpan, tagged Xing Han: Hello, sister-in-law.
I'm tired. Let's all just perish.
Notes:
1. The bottom isn't a mindless hater. He only criticizes the top's gameplay, and there's a reason for it.
2. Most of the story is about their everyday livestreams. The top uses a secret identity to watch the bottom run his mouth, and acts like a menace while pretending to be a girl. In the end, the two join forces to compete.
New novel: "Uh-Oh, My Nemesis Is Taking Me Seriously"
[Blurb]
I.
In the full-immersion game Peak, an ancient legend from the beta days, a "top-tier Alpha," disappeared for two years and returned as a casual player. He spends his time picking on weak players, entering prize draws, and listening to the little Omegas praise him. The game is a delight.
Until an Alpha suddenly appears on the server, acting even cooler than he does and shooting with even more flair.
And the best part is, right after Jian Ran calls him a master of shooting circles around people, several bullets leap from the man's gun. They don't hit him, but trace a ring just outside his body.
A literal outline!
From then on, they keep running into each other, and every meeting turns into a showdown!
But before long, Jian Ran differentiates in the game, his pheromones flooding the entire map. Faced with the Alphas he offended with his reckless behavior, now closing in on him, he grits his teeth and asks Lu Yunsui to give him a temporary mark.
The captain of the Galaxy Squad glances at that slender, fair neck, his gaze darkening. "Why should I?"
Young Master Jian waggles his eyebrows. "I heard this game is incredibly realistic. Is even the great expert afraid he won't be able to handle it?"
The next second, he's shoved against a wall. "Then let's find out."
Afterward, Lu Yunsui leans close to his ear and says hoarsely, "Can you still handle it?"
Jian Ran, shaken to the core, braces his weak waist and retorts with forced composure, "Your ears are red... It's just a game. You're not taking this seriously, are you?"
II.
Peak has two gods. Whenever fans discuss Lu Yunsui, they always bring up the ancient legend to argue over who's better, never imagining that one day the two would become teammates.
During team tryouts, the "new kid" Jian Ran asks Lu Yunsui sweetly and meekly, "Brother Lu, can I borrow your spot for a scrim?"
After the official matches begin, the elegant Omega wears a windbreaker, fitted pants, and black boots as he grabs his gun and beats the Alphas to a pulp. He's unbelievably Alpha.
Everyone is still speculating that the "new kid" is stealing too much of the captain's spotlight and won't fit in with the team. In reality...
Lu Yunsui holds Jian Ran, now happily bearing his mark, and asks in his ear, "How many times do I have to do it before you take me seriously?"
Jian Ran smiles brightly. "Brother Lu, how many bullets did you use to outline me back then?"
Theme: Joining hands to become better versions of ourselves.
It's quite sweet, but a little short.
You can't just give it 5 stars and lower the score. It looks great, come on!
No, this is the end. Crying (???????ω???????)? ???
Xiao Xin is so good at it.
This is so cute, who doesn't want to see something sweet?
