A Planar Merchant Among the Myths

As a descendant of interstellar migrants who lost their way, Ji Shang was born in a desolate land, short on resources and choked with pollution. By chance, he obtained a plane-trading System, and the chance to enter countless worlds and trade appeared before him.

They were worlds from countless literary works brought from his home planet, Earth. Most importantly, they contained things Ji Shang longed for.

Unfortunately, as a businessman, he had almost no capital.

He envied how such wondrous, fertile land could exist in this world, stretching endlessly as all living things thrived.

He wondered how anyone could fear the water of the River of Sons and Mothers. Healthy, lively children were practically a dream to them.

And then there were the countless miraculous elixirs. Whenever he thought of his compatriots, many of whom suffered from deformities and disabilities, he couldn't suppress his longing.

Even the air they breathed every day seemed impossibly luxurious to him. How fortunate and privileged he was now.

"I'll trade for all of these things. May my ancestors bless me."

Ji Shang wanted to obtain anything that could restore life to this desolate planet.

And the long, brilliant history of civilization had already given him ample capital.

P.S. The "myths" in the title aren't limited to the strict definition of mythology. The story mainly includes myths, legends, anecdotes, and folktales from ancient times.
