[Updates may be slow]
Ever since the First Divine Venerable personally decreed that any creature in the world with a spirit could take human form,
Ye Xi's life has suddenly become wonderfully chaotic!
The cultural relics under his care have all started taking human form.
One day, one of them suddenly tells him it wants to become a celebrity! The next, another abandons its life as a cultural relic and runs off to tell fortunes as a Taoist priest!
The more sensible ones only want to learn magic or become scientists!
But some go even further: one even shaved its head and came to him insisting it wanted to become a monk!!!
You little monster, why are you so determined to throw your life away?!
It isn't until an accident lets Ye Xi glimpse the moving pasts of these relics...
That he finally understands what lies behind their outrageous choices...
[A cultural relic that wants to become a celebrity: Its former owner was a famous opera singer who lived for dance, gave up the person they loved, and died for their country]
[All the praise and glory are for what you wished for]
[A cultural relic that wants to shave its head and become a monk: Its former owner was a virtuous monk who abandoned the Tao to save people during a time of chaos]
[Now that the world is at peace, I want to fulfill your wish, too]
[A cultural relic that wants to become a scientist: Its former owner was an unsung hero who studied abroad, resolutely returned to China, and died from overwork]
[I want to become someone just like you]
In short, this is a story about someone who becomes the big nanny of a bunch of cultural relics, all for love and justice~
Note: The pasts of the relics and their owners will be explored in detail, as will helping the relics fulfill their wishes. The order will vary, and the pacing may be a little slow. I want to tell their stories properly, so please bear with me.
1. There will be more cultural relics than the ones mentioned in the blurb (probably). Each relic gets its own story, told in episodic form. The stories will mostly connect and encompass the protagonist's growth.
2. Some relic names may be based on real ones, but all historical details, including eras and dates, are fictional. Please don't fact-check! Thank you, everyone~
Blurb, first version written in January 2021; second version, the current one, revised before August 12, 2021.
Upcoming novel: The Old Bookshop, male lead, no romance
A strange tale is told throughout the world:
In alleys paved with gray bricks and tiles, in parks where green water flows over stone, even beside a coffee shop on the way home...
In the stillness of the dead of night, an old bookshop with no name quietly opens somewhere in the world.
The owner is a refined young man who seems easygoing and elegant. He is always holding a book, with a dignified, spirited black cat curled up beside him. Wearing a gentle smile, he welcomes customers who come in from every corner of the world and serves each one a cup of hot tea, listening to their troubles and worries.
They say the owner is immortal, and opened the bookshop simply to pass the endless time, which is why it contains every kind of ancient book and manuscript.
They say the owner is an ancient god who, for reasons of his own, remains in the mortal world. Out of kindness and compassion, he grants the wishes of the lost.
But for anyone who enters the shop weighed down by worries, the only thing they need to do is listen to their heart and open the old book they are destined to find.
It understands every thought in your mind and can resolve every worry and sorrow. All you have to do is pay a small price, and you can take the old book away with you.
One night, the old book that helped fulfill your wish will quietly return to the shop, where it will wait for the next person who needs it.
Every old book is unique, concealing a hidden history. They gather in the bookshop, then scatter to other places, bringing joy to others and sparking new creations.
The Bookshop Diary
Theme: Time passes, but love and hope endure.
It won't be a series in my lifetime, right? I have been supporting you for this article for a long time, why are you only in chapter 34? Don't be like this
Cheer up before going on stage so that you can put on a show, hahaha
"There is no revelation" is a big bug for the author~ without reservation
I actually quite like this rhythm. On the contrary, the story is told clearly bit by bit, and each character is very fleshed out, which fits well with the copywriting.
I originally liked this subject, but this short story... Really doesn't have any exciting points, and it's a bit too long. I looked at the title, and I'm still talking about it at the beginning of v. I'm a little impatient. I wish the author will write better and better in the future! Come on, Moma.
I'm so excited after reading the copywriting ~ But the reviews are not very good... I'll give it a while and then read it again.
I still like the non-CP version, come on, ma'am.
The plot is really too drawn out, like tasteless chewing gum. It has no new ideas and is not worthy of the copywriting. It feels like you are going off topic as you write.
The control of nine-year compulsory education hahahaha
Wow wow wow wow the copywriting made me fall in love with this article
