The Annoying Female Supporting Character Went Viral With Her Sarcasm

He Xihan has a dream and discovers that she's the scheming supporting female character in a novel. Her stepsister, An Lei, is the straightforward heroine of a feel-good power fantasy. He Xihan has acted in this kind of TV drama before, so in theory, this shouldn't be unfamiliar. But the thing is... She's standing in front of a full-length mirror wearing a camisole, studying the long, toned muscles in her arms. She recalls trending online after beating up a male celebrity, and remembers her stepsister crying on a variety show as she accused her stepsister of bullying her. She falls silent. "Are you sure I'm the scheming one and my stepsister is the straightforward girl?" He Xihan asks, questioning her entire life. The System answers without a shred of guilt: "Yes. Your personalities have diverged from their original settings, and the world is showing signs of collapse, so I was sent to correct you. You need to say the scheming lines I give you in the situations I specify, and become a proper scheming supporting character." And so He Xihan, who had been vilified for her temper and even her violence, begins to live up to her scheming persona. * The audience notices that He Xihan has changed. On a dating reality show, He Xihan and her stepsister meet at a corner. Livestream comments: [Here we go! That bitch He Xihan is definitely going to bully our Princess Lei again!] The next second, He Xihan suddenly flings herself backward at lightning speed and lands on the ground, looking shocked. "Sis, you pushed me! I know you've always been jealous that I'm the biological daughter of the He family and you're only a stepdaughter, but you don't have to bully me like this!" An Lei, who has also fallen to the ground: "..." She moved more slowly than He Xihan, and the audience clearly sees her fake fall. Livestream comments: [Did something weird just happen?] The next second, He Xihan, who had looked heartbroken just moments ago, springs to her feet. She dusts off her hands, walks away calmly, and doesn't even break a sweat. The livestream audience finally catches on. [...She's acting! She's reenacting what An Lei said before!] [I think I get it now!] On a lifestyle variety show, a male celebrity sadly brings up his ex, hesitating as he speaks. "It's okay, I've moved on. It's all in the past." As he speaks, tears roll down his handsome face. Audience: [He must have been through so much. But he's so responsible, suffering in silence and never saying a bad word about his ex.] [Such a good man, and He Xihan still hit him! Why hasn't that violent woman been arrested yet?] He Xihan picks up a thermos and sets it in front of the male celebrity with a concerned look. "Sigh, I was too impulsive last time. I'm sorry." The male celebrity secretly rejoices and takes a sip. The next second, he spits it out. He Xihan says, "You got involved with someone else while you had a girlfriend because you were under too much pressure and needed to let off steam. You didn't really mean it. How could your sister-in-law blame you?" "Unlike me, I only feel sorry for you, big brother~ Here, drink some hot water~" The male celebrity holds his scalded tongue and dashes to the bathroom. * He Xihan becomes famous for her scheming lines. Netizens everywhere exclaim that they used to be bad judges of character, mistaking scheming men and women for innocent romantics! Turns out the only real one is the hot-tempered beauty He Xihan! So, when He Xihan can't open a bottle on the show, Audience: [It must be a problem with the cap!] When He Xihan passes a top-tier star and stumbles into his arms, Audience: [The hallway carpet must not have been laid flat!] When He Xihan says, without even blushing or getting out of breath, that she can't walk anymore and needs the top-tier star to carry her so they can finish the task, Audience: [What are you waiting for? Pick her up!] An Lei, who is now being disliked because everyone has seen through her scheming nature: ??? Look at you all being so hypocritical! Is something wrong with you? Reader tips: 1. An Lei is not the original heroine. There's more to her story. 2. This world isn't entirely controlled by the original novel. Besides He Xihan, other people, including but not limited to the original male lead, the original supporting female character, the original supporting male character, and the original extras, may also act out of character.
