Xiaohua Says

Blurb: What are you most afraid of? ---Memory. Things you absentmindedly forgot when you were young may quietly return one day in the future. In that moment, they become cold, dark, and uncanny. You struggle to forget them again, to escape them, but they cling to you like maggots in a wound, watching you suffocate in despair. This is their revenge for having once been forgotten. Xiao Hua says, "I plan to write all of this down and then burn it, as if it had never happened. Only things that never happened can be forgotten so easily." This story is entirely fictional. Theme: May all girls escape the past and every kind of constraint, and find their way onto a bright path.
