Yan Qing was born in Kunlun Xu and bears the title of Young Mountain Master, but his only responsibility is a section of the Kunlun Xu library. The people of Kunlun Xu live long lives, so some can't help wanting to visit the human world. When Yan Qing heard that someone else had gone down the mountain, he was busy tending to his fine wine. It was only months later, when a beam of light shot up from the library, that he realized something had gone wrong: the Eight Wilderness Manual had lit up, and the Six Directions Manual was missing. After the old Mountain Master gave him a scolding, he kicked Yan Qing out of Kunlun Xu. If he couldn't retrieve the Six Directions Manual, he could go live or die in the human world...
