How to Avoid Becoming a Victim in a Mystery Manga

I realized that the world I lived in seemed to be a high-risk mystery manga.

Because this world had an abnormally high rate of murders, and cases couldn't be solved without a famous detective.

Just like today, there's been another murder! And Edogawa Ranpo solved it on the spot again!

To survive safely in this high-risk world and completely avoid the bad ending of becoming a corpse, I decided to work hard to become the safest kind of background character: a foolish police officer who appears in every chapter and serves as a foil to the world's greatest detective.

My friend had a different suggestion:

"I'm the most important protagonist in this manga, right? If you're going to be a foolish tool of an underling, you might as well be my assistant... If you hate assistant work, then be my lover. The protagonist's lover is sure to be safe! Of course I won't let anything happen to you!"

* The protagonist is the detective I like.

* The Detective Conan timeline is set seven years before Conan shrinks, a period I've never written about before qvq.

* The main text is written in third person.

Theme: Sincere feelings are precious.
