HP: Daisy

On a sunny midday, a little boy stared in surprise as the girl across from him patted his head and said, "Little brother, your hair is so greasy. You're going to go bald someday." The boy's face went from pale to red. He stared blankly as the girl wiped her hand on him. Then he burst into heartbroken tears. His face felt greasy, and when he opened his eyes, all he saw was the girl wiping his face with a handkerchief as she cried.

Years later, he would look back on this less-than-ideal beginning and glance at the girl beside him. Back then, he probably never imagined that someone would become so precious to him, that he would want to keep learning about her, see everything through her eyes, and become part of a world utterly unlike his family's.

Ever since the hair oil incident, I finally had a little friend. He was childish, but cute, so I could just about put up with him. I learned from the people of my clan and treated him like a little brother, protecting him as they protected me. I never imagined that one day he'd confess by naturally pressing his lips against mine. Heaven knows that at first, I thought of him as a delicate little sister. So why did I feel as if there were a thousand butterflies fluttering inside me?

Lailisi's life in HP. This is my first Harry Potter fanfic. I wrote it while reading the books and watching the movies, so the writing is average. There probably aren't many people who read HP fanfiction, but I had a lot of fun writing this and hope you enjoy it too. Best enjoyed with the chapter list.
