Yi Jian isn't afraid of becoming a cannon-fodder character in a cultivation novel, because she knows she'll become the strongest villain later on.
In the original plot, her character gives in to lust and takes advantage of several male leads when they can't move, molesting them.
She gets a moment of pleasure, but it leads to her being killed.
When Yi Jian arrives, she's at the part where she "gives in to lust." The men are already in disarray, but luckily, she hasn't gone any further. Such a rare opportunity must be made the most of.
She takes some of their blood for emergencies, then leaves them where they are, treating them like tools to be discarded once used.
Without that initial grudge between them, there naturally won't be any entanglements later on.
After all, Yi Jian plans to become the strongest demonic cultivator. Love and hate will only slow her sword hand!
So why are these men still clinging to her?
[Extra Scene]
The men come to her in person, demanding that she take responsibility.
Yi Jian: "No, really, there's no need. We're completely innocent, and there's absolutely nothing I need to take responsibility for."
Men (several): "How are we innocent?"
Yi Jian: "How aren't you?"
Men (several): "Our bodies are innocent, but our reputations aren't. Rumors are flying everywhere that we were all defiled by the same demoness. If you won't let us take responsibility for you, then you should at least take responsibility for one of us."
Yi Jian: "Rumors stop with the wise!"
Men (several): "Exactly. Once you take responsibility for one of us, the rumor will die down."
Yi Jian: "..."
Yi Jian, gritting her teeth: "I'm not good enough for any of you!"
Men (several): "So you're saying we're good enough for you. In that case, we'll take responsibility for you and clear our names."
Yi Jian: How did we end up back where we started? This is practically forced matchmaking!
Yi Jian, still gritting her teeth: "This really isn't appropriate."
Men (several): "Weren't you the one who said you liked handsome Immortal Lords like us?"
Yi Jian: "...I did."
Men (several): "Weren't you the one who assaulted us and tried to ruin our reputations?"
Yi Jian: "...I was."
Men (several): "Since you've admitted it, shouldn't you take responsibility for us?"
Yi Jian: "...No."
