Just when Luo Chu and Chen Cuo had finally managed to patch things up, their friends were remarking on how even people who had nothing in common could get along.
Less than three days later, their relationship hit rock bottom again.
Worse than before.
A friend sat down beside Luo Chu. "Don't tell me you have no idea."
Luo Chu turned her head. "What?"
"Chen Cuo likes you."
"Does he?" Luo Chu gave a soft laugh. "That has nothing to do with me."
Not long after, someone blocked her path.
Chen Cuo backed Luo Chu into a corner, eyes lowered and fixed on her. Half mocking, half warning, he said, "Luo Chu, don't think you can make me give in."
Luo Chu lifted her face and leaned closer.
They were so close that the slightest movement would have made them touch. As if under a spell, Chen Cuo lowered his head.
Luo Chu turned away slightly, and he missed.
She curled her lips and leaned toward him again, close but not quite touching. "Chen Cuo, don't you dare lower your head for me."
/You're really playing with fire, woman/
/What's wrong with lowering your head for your girlfriend?/
/Who doesn't lower their head to kiss?/
