Reader's guide: * FGO AU. You don't need to have played the game to enjoy it. * A deranged, broken Yuta x Heroic Spirit Itadori * Personal headcanon: Rika isn't in love with Yuta, she's simply a childhood friend with a strong desire to protect him. * Also known as: "Is It Really Right to Save Your Executioner After You Die?" "Yuji Itadori Goes to Great Lengths to Stabilize the Timeline" and "How Do I Explain That I'm Not a Heartless Liar Who Flirts and Runs?" * Synopsis: After being executed by his senior, Yuta, Yuji ascends to become a Heroic Spirit. He makes a contract to serve as a Proxy with Alaya, who claims to be the embodiment of human consciousness. To prevent a Singularity from forming, Yuji travels back in time and stops the young Yuta from dying again and again. But then... Yuta inexplicably sets his sights on him _(:з"∠)_ Heroic Spirit Yuji only cares about completing his mission so he can clock out and rest. After using a trick to fake his death, all the psychological games from before completely break Yuta. In the end, Yuta evolves into a twisted, deranged monster. Heroic Spirit Yuji, far away in another world, shivers: I have a bad feeling about this... Theme: Never give up on finding a way to the future we deserve, even in a closed loop.
