Every Day, I Want to Retire for Good

This is a world where the Conan-style world of crime-solving and magic coexist. On this side of the sea, a blond, dark-skinned Public Security officer and his gentle, cat-eyed childhood friend deliver a spectacular series of hand-to-hand beatdowns. Far away, an FBI veteran is also lying in wait, ready to take out the enemy with a single shot from hundreds of miles away. This makes sense in the Conan world. On the other side of the sea, a wizard who looks like an old goat holds up a lizard specimen glowing green, chants, "Evil spirits, monsters, and ghosts, be gone," and teaches her to fight magic with magic. This does not make sense in the Conan world. And right between the two stands Hester Lane, the notorious, globally wanted thief. One step to the left, and she'll enter the so-called number one yakuza organization in Japan, thoroughly infiltrated by the cops. One step to the right, and she'll be facing fire-breathing ocher statues and countless strange demons. She chooses to stand in the middle. But in the middle, the infamous Lupin the Third gang has already sent her an invitation to join them. So... Question: She doesn't want to be a villain anymore. Is it too late to turn over a new leaf? Her wallet may be thinner, but she's still quick on her feet! The infamous thief who stops at nothing! And there is always more than one cop! The pairing isn't set. She'll probably keep bouncing between the members of the Whiskey Trio. This is a ship-picking story, and the ending is one-on-one, so pick your favorite early! This is a crossover. You can still enjoy it even if you've only watched Detective Conan and haven't seen the other series. Probably. The timeline is about five years before Conan's first year. Plenty of chapters in reserve, with a steady update schedule. Leave a favorite and a comment! Mwah! Theme: Villains never get a happy ending!
