The blurb for my new novel, Professional Stand-In for the Tragic Heroine, is at the very end. Please add it to your reading list, just a little plea~
Blurb:
Also known as After Transmigrating into a Book, My Husband's Character Went Off the Rails
Li Yuange transmigrates into a book, becoming a cannon-fodder supporting character in an ancient romance about a reborn heroine. She opens her eyes to find herself on her wedding night.
Her husband is handsome, ruthless, and unpredictable. A favorite of the emperor, the Grand Tutor of the court, and a military power in his own right, he is cold and aloof, and people call him the White Jade King of Hell.
As a minor cannon-fodder character, Li Yuange has no intention of following the original owner's doomed path: falling in love without being loved in return, turning evil, tormenting the heroine, and finally getting herself killed when her husband runs her through with his sword.
So she sets herself a goal early on for her life after transmigrating into a book: cherish her life, stay away from the Grand Tutor, keep her head down, and make a living as a contented couch potato.
But her husband in name only is a handful. Instead of pursuing the heroine, his unattainable dream girl, he insists that he wants only Li Yuange and even sets out to become the most devoted husband in the capital.
Li Yuange is at a loss: This guy's character has totally gone off the rails!
Only later does Li Yuange learn that the Lu Xu before her is not the Lu Xu from the book.
The Lu Xu in the book is devoted to the heroine and turns evil for love. The Lu Xu before her has awakened to the fact that he is a fictional character, and is rebelling against the rules of the novel's world to save it.
The Lu Xu in the book has a harem full of beauties. The Lu Xu before her has nothing but bodyguards and spies in his household.
The Grand Tutor's signature lines: I don't love the heroine, I have no beauties, and I keep myself chaste. The Lu Xu in the book has nothing to do with me.
Reading Guide:
A couch-potato cannon-fodder character who transmigrates into a book and wants an easy life X a reborn villain who keeps going off-script
A little plea to add this series to your reading list: Professional Stand-In for the Tragic Heroine
Qin Yuan transmigrates into a book, landing in a political intrigue tragedy and straight into a dangerous mess. Because she looks so much like the heroine, powerful men who cannot have the heroine treat her as her stand-in.
The original story centers on political intrigue and power struggles, interwoven with heartbreaking romances. The heroine is passed from one powerful political player to another. They love her, but they hurt her too. Exhausted in both body and spirit, she watches love and hate come to nothing, then gives her life to stop a sword during a great battle.
When Qin Yuan arrives, the story has already ended. The heroine has been dead for a whole year, and the powerful men, victors and losers alike, have gathered at Sunset Cliff on the anniversary of her death. It is a full-blown powder keg.
To find a way home, she diligently takes on the role of the heroine's professional stand-in. She tailors a stand-in persona for each powerful man, weaving their dreams and building up her own achievement points.
Sickly Cousin: I want you to be her, but I can't have you be her.
Qin Yuan: I don't care what you want. I'll max out your heartbreak points, then you can go cough somewhere else.
Scheming, suspicious Crown Prince: Your smile is so fake. You don't look like her at all. I don't like it.
Qin Yuan: I don't care if you like me. I'll max out your heartbreak points and give you a headache so bad you'll question your whole life.
Qin Yuan: They think I'm a stand-in who lets them relive an old dream in private, and a weapon to hurt their enemies in public. But they're all on my chessboard. I'm the one moving the pieces.
Reading Guide:
1. The heroine is the original novel's heroine. She recovers her memories of transmigrating later in the story.
2. The heroine has a System. Completing missions earns points, which can be exchanged for skill points.
3. A one-stop package of tormenting scumbags and face-slapping, with everyone getting their comeuppance. The kind where they're ground to dust.
4. The heroine shines on her own.
Theme: Be yourself. You're already wonderful just the way you are.
The male protagonist has three wives, four concubines and a son... Isn't it cool that my male protagonist is from Durban? The character is not well established either, and the scene where the heroine fights Liu Rumei is too ridiculous and forced to subdue her wits. The male protagonist had no brains to support the female protagonist at the beginning. I still feel that it is better to go step by step. The male protagonist is not firm enough, and the male protagonist is obviously not as emotional as the character described in the text (the mansion is full of secret guards who have awakened their consciousness. With the plot, shouldn't it be a calm, brave and strategic male protagonist?) It feels like everything is for the female protagonist.
I don't understand a lady calling her concubine sister.
According to what you said, the heroine is the one who has that serious illness. She did not intend to take over the original owner's body. If she used the original owner's body, she has to take responsibility. The original owner was killed by the original heroine. Although it was not directly killed, it was also part of the reason. The original owner was still happily consuming CP. According to what you said, the heroine is the one who has that serious illness and took over the original owner's body. She didn't mean to use her body. If she uses the body of the original owner, she has to take responsibility. The original owner was killed by the original heroine. Although it was not directly killed, it was also part of the reason. She also happily smoked CP. The original main reason is that she knows that Ren is such a thing when using her own body. She would rather have her body be wiped out than let such a thing use her body. She would rather have her body be wiped out than let such a thing use her body.
How could the heroine call her concubine sister if she is a wife? Also, the male protagonist was originally designed as a passionate second male lead, so why did he have so many concubines? The whole house is too good to be true, and he actually has a concubine. Did you get in earlier than the heroine?
Why does the main wife call her concubine? There is a difference between superiority and inferiority...
This male character is written in such a low-priced way... Is this the master, surely he is not a shameless slut? He has a wife and still has to tangle with other women. He has the courage to cuckold his wife, and pretends to be an innocent and noble gentleman. Can such a man also be a positive male character? People like to write slut literature these days, right? Don't you feel disgusted when you write this kind of male character??? In reality, it's okay if you like to pick up dirty men, but when you write a novel, you have to write about this kind of green tea dick. I'm so hungry.

Thanks for the limited exemption (?? . ??)
