Yun Heyu, a sword genius seen only once in ten thousand years across the Six Realms, was the favored disciple of the head of the greatest cultivation sect. “Enough talk! Yun Heyu is unworthy of her position. Everyone, attack together! Today, we’re going to drive this shameless scoundrel from her seat!”
Yun Heyu raised a hand. The Nine Heavens Sword Formation descended, crippling half the crowd. The rest dropped to their knees and begged for mercy.
Yun Heyu raised her hand and crippled the other half as well. Her voice was cool and calm. “Go explain yourselves to the Dao Ancestor.”
Demon-Slaying Squad: We warned you. She may be shameless, but she’s the Sword God.
★ Master-and-Disciple Skit ★
Yun Heyu always thought Ming Huayue was a fragile white lotus, an innocent child, and a giant snow mastiff who specialized in acting cute and rolling around. Then she saw him sobbing sweetly while driving his romantic rivals to the brink of collapse, and realized he was a black-hearted lotus steeped in the scent of tea.
Ming Huayue stopped pretending. He trampled across a mountain of corpses and pacified the Demon Realm, then cheekily tilted his phoenix eyes to bewitch Yun Heyu. “Master, it hurts~”
Yun Heyu could take no more. “Let go! What kind of behavior is this in public?”
“I won’t! It hurts. I’ll only get better if Master cuddles me.”
Yun Heyu kicked the person clinging to her off the throne. The demons could no longer hold back their laughter. Ming Huayue raised an eyebrow, and his murderous aura bore down on them.
