[Hunter X Hunter] Pole Star

The North Star symbolizes steadfastness and never leaving someone behind.

Those who lose their way will always find the North Star waiting for them at the celestial north pole.

People look up to find it.

I cry and shout, but I can't find my way.

Words and images I can't recall,

traces that can't be erased, remain.

It's called Meteor City, so why does it feel so profound and eternal...?

How greedy.

Excerpt 1:

The man wore his hair slicked back. The equal-armed cross on his forehead caught my eye. He noticed me looking and said, his expression faint, "Do you think I'm rebellious and disloyal?"

I shook my head. "I don't have any faith."

The man seemed to smile. "Isn't it called the North Star?"

The North Star symbolizes loyalty, steadfastness, never leaving someone behind, and every good quality in the world.

I shook my head again.

PS: The excerpt above is from the main story [I may add more later]. The leader isn't the male lead.

PPS: I'm not good at writing romance. The pairing is set, but readers can decide for themselves what they think of the male lead.

The plot doesn't make much sense, but I'll do my best to keep the characters in character.
