The Model Couple

[Free novel, not contracted. I've run out of inspiration, so I'll come back and finish it later. Marking it complete for now so I can spruce up my author page.]

Synopsis:

Chu Zhuo and Wen Pei are the model couple in their circle. They treat each other with respect and are deeply in love.

But everything changed after Wen Pei hit his head. He became convinced that he had transmigrated into a book, and that he was the doomed "discarded wife" in the story. Rather than leave empty-handed, he might as well take the money and run.

Wen Pei: "Honey, could you put my name on the property deed?"

Chu Zhuo stared at him in confusion. "Hasn't your name always been on it?"

Wen Pei: "!!!!!"

Wen Pei: "Honey, I saw a watch I like recently..."

Chu Zhuo stared at him in confusion. "Then buy it. Haven't you always been in charge of the household finances?"

Wen Pei: "!!!!!"

Wen Pei: "Honey, if your first love ever comes looking for you, remember to tell me. We're decent people. We can't just leave someone in need to die."

Chu Zhuo stared at him in confusion. "But... aren't you my first love?"

Wen Pei: "!!!!!"

This plot isn't going the way it should!

Chu Zhuo gazed at him. "What plot? Is this the one?"

His eyes shining, Chu Zhuo immediately produced a maid outfit.

Wen Pei: "..."

That really isn't necessary!
