This is a fable for young children. The hardworking little white rabbit harvests lots of carrots, while the lazy little black rabbit has nothing to show for its efforts. The kind little white rabbit wants to give the black rabbit some carrots, but the black rabbit says it has plenty of carrots of its own. Where did the black rabbit get them? Let’s find out together.
Theme: This little story introduces children to the idiom "drawing cakes to satisfy hunger." Pretending to have something you don’t is wrong, so children shouldn’t do it!
