My Home in the Pokemon World Really Is Just an Ordinary Family

Blurb 1: The high school entrance exam is just a few days away. A girl with white hair and pink tips sits staring into space, pondering the meaning of life. "Who am I, really...? Ah... I should probably finish the entrance exam first..."

She opens the workbook in her hands and gradually gets bewildered:

Question 1: Which of the following Pokemon is not an albino Pokemon? A. White Ralts, B. White Pancham, C. White Metagross, D. White Gyarados, E. White Seel

Teacher: Class, this one's a free point!

Tang Mengmeng: I think I see what's going on here. Next question.

Question 2: What was the name of the first illustrated compendium in ancient Xuanyang?

Tang Mengmeng: I know this one, The Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Question 3: List three Pokemon food chains. They must not overlap, and each must have at least four Pokemon.

Tang Mengmeng: Pidgeotto and Spearow make one, right? What next? O_o

Question 4: When and with which monsoon does the Jumpluff family arrive, where do they go, and what effects do they have? How should the negative impact on the local area be dealt with?

Tang Mengmeng: You're making this way too hard for me.

Question 5: List three regional distributions of Sharpedo and the different names they're called due to regional variation.

Tang Mengmeng: I choose death.

Blurb 2: Tang Mengmeng thought her family was just an ordinary, moderately well-off household. Her father was a bureau chief, her mother ran a dance studio, her grandparents owned a Chinese medicine shop and a Bug-type Pokémon Day Care.

One day, her grandfather handed Mengmeng a Key Stone. "Your grandpa once served Xuanyang with distinction. This was the reward the government gave me, and now I'm giving it to you."

Her grandfather took Mengmeng to visit his former superior. Mengmeng discovered that the old superior was actually a former Dragon-type Champion.

A new apprentice of the old Aura-reading lady, who traveled with a Lucario, made a splash in the rookie tournament. The old lady thought she'd show off her apprentice to an old schoolmate later, only to discover that the apprentice's grandmother was that very schoolmate.

A Grass-type Trainer, one of her grandparents' longtime customers, came by their Chinese medicine shop again to buy coptis root. Mengmeng took one look and thought, Well, would you look at that, the current Elite Four member. Apparently, he'd once taken a Grass-type Pokemon from their Day Care and raised it himself.

As for her father, he's just an ordinary bureau chief. It seems like her mother is the most ordinary one of all, just a dance studio owner or something...

Mengmeng: One word, incredible!

Her best friend, who dreams of becoming a dragon-slaying hero: "Mengmeng, and you still say your family is ordinary!?"

Mengmeng: I didn't! I swear, I really didn't know!

The setting is a fusion of the real world and the Pokemon World, with some original additions. I'm just writing for fun. The female lead is loved by everyone around her.

P.S. The female lead grows over time and has no golden finger. If she has one, it's her family's connections, though the network is more or less what's described above. She's not a typical transmigrator. It's legal to buy and sell Pokemon raised by humans as young, while poaching and trading wild Pokemon are illegal. Pokemon owners have to register them with the authorities. If you can't accept that, let's part on good terms.
