The Useless Mecha Mechanic Is the Strongest in the Universe

[The author is a compulsive reviser and edits unpredictably. The Jinjiang version is definitive. I take no responsibility for pirated versions. The opening chapter got tens of thousands more clicks than it should have, so please ignore that.] Shi Yun transmigrates from being the chief researcher at the Space Administration into the most hated person in the galaxy, and she's a useless mecha engineer to boot. At the military academy rankings tournament, Dongqing Military Academy's resident mecha engineer is eliminated after being targeted by everyone. Shi Yun takes the substitute spot, and the entire Star Network writes her off. "If Dongqing doesn't fall out of the top four military academies, I'll livestream myself eating a keyboard while standing on my head!" "I bet on the other school winning." "Have military academy rankings tournaments become showcases for students who got in through connections?" During the competition, Shi Yun builds an old-fashioned mecha that was phased out long ago. "Is this some kind of joke? The Dongqing instructors must have had a decade-long brain clot to pick a mecha engineer this bad." "Got it. Dongqing's given up this year." When the two sides clash, Dongqing Military Academy completely crushes the other school. "Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap! Is that an S-rank mecha?" "Give me a minute, give me a minute! Damn! Professional players aren't allowed to compete!" The interstellar mecha league begins, and the haters are still hard at work. "So what if she's a top mecha engineer? Which top mecha engineer from another country can't pilot an S-rank mecha?" The next day, in the finals, Shi Yun tears through the entire field in an SSS-rank mecha. The entire galaxy's audience: ???
