I’m not abandoning this story, since I’m still working on other ones. If you like the blurb, you can bookmark it for now. I’ll revise the first few chapters. I was writing nonsense because my brain was a little wonky back then. Once I finish that other story, I’ll come right back.
Qin Ange died suddenly sixty years ago, but her soul could never enter the underworld. She could only wander the human world as a lonely ghost.
After an accident, Qin Ange was given a new life.
She became the long-lost granddaughter whom the Qin family had finally found. The original owner was timid and dim-witted, and had to endure contempt from many people.
Qin Ange wasn’t having it.
She’d been a ghost for sixty years, after all. There was no way she’d let anyone get away with treating her like that!
At the bidding, the assembled dignitaries looked at her with disdain, shaking their heads and sneering.
Who could have guessed that Qin Ange would use a clever feint to win the most prosperous plot of land in Yecheng at the lowest possible price, stunning everyone?
At a business dinner, Qin Ange discussed financing with a group of potential partners.
The partners agreed among themselves to get her drunk and trick her into signing the contract.
Instead, Qin Ange got all eight of them drunk by herself.
Then she raised her glass and asked, "Come on, drink! I’m not even drunk yet. How come you’re all passed out?"
Years later, Qin Ange returned to her alma mater as a successful person to give a speech. When students heard that she had been a terrible student, one of them deliberately brought a difficult math problem to the Q&A session to stump her.
To everyone’s surprise, Qin Ange not only solved it, but came up with three different methods?!
Qin Ange asked eagerly, "Do you have any more problems like this? I love solving difficult math problems."
The whole room was in an uproar. Who said Qin Ange was a terrible student? She was clearly a genius!
Later, the Qin and Chu families arranged a marriage between them.
Chu Mobai was used to his freedom. When he heard he was expected to marry, he threw a fit and volunteered to go to Africa to support an engineering project.
A few months later, under pressure, Chu Mobai returned to China and registered his marriage to Qin Ange.
After they married.
The first time Qin Ange got drunk, she slurred, "I’ll tell you a secret. Your grandpa had a crush on me when he was a kid."
The second time Qin Ange got drunk, she declared confidently, "If I’d been alive back then, your grandma wouldn’t have stood a chance!"
The third time Qin Ange got drunk, she sobbed, "I’m your ancestor! How did I end up marrying you?"
Chu Mobai: "..."
Was he... really... so bad?
A beautiful, bold, and sassy living ancestor x a freedom-loving man who can only be tamed by his living ancestor
