Eight years ago, the major sects laid siege to Wuyashan. Zhang Rongxi, the Eccentric Scholar, died a gruesome death, and the Sword Immortal was overcome by bloodlust and slaughtered the eight major sects.
Chronicles of the Martial World
Eight years later, the Wanjian Manor was wiped out overnight. To save his friend's orphan, the Sword Immortal returned to the martial world.
Unfortunately, he picked up the wrong child.
The little brat was ruthless, shameless, and good at putting on an act. By the time Xie Yao realized it, there was no way to return him.
Especially since the brat was love-struck, always plotting to overstep his place and occasionally turning dark.
Xie Yao: I'm scared. I'll just run away, okay?
As it turned out, the moment Xie Yao ran, the brat really did go mad.
At the martial arts tournament, heroes from across the land clashed, and the Sword Immortal fell.
The great villain Feng Buyan split the martial peak with one blow and led the demonic cult on the verge of wiping out all the major sects.
The dazed Sword Immortal nervously popped out. "Let's talk this out. No fighting."
The brat's eyes were red. "Xie Yao, how dare you leave me behind!"
The assembled heroes trembled. "Just have a nice romance, please. Don't cause trouble..."

Lin Ji is a madman and a great villain, but luckily he's lost his memory. Now he's a pitiful fellow called Feng Buyan, spending all day staring at an indifferent old man.
The old man has a slender waist and long legs, and is incredibly handsome, though a little dull. But that's fine. The great villain is best at forcing good people into prostitution.
But in the end, the great villain discovers that he might, perhaps, be no match for the old man.
Luckily, the old man's soft-hearted. The pitiful fellow looks at him with red, aggrieved eyes. "Xie Yao, how dare you leave me behind?"
So the great villain happily embraces the dazed Sword Immortal, completely forgetting that he'd just used a pile of severed heads to force the man to come out.
