Of all the people who read Dream of the Red Chamber, the first thing they see is Daiyu, so refined and otherworldly.
Of all the people who read Dream of the Red Chamber, the one who breaks their heart most is Daiyu, who fades away in sorrow.
For every thousand readers of Dream of the Red Chamber, there are a thousand people who imagine Daiyu:
Some want to be Daiyu themselves,
while others wonder how they would face a Daiyu.
This is my Daiyu...
She still lives in that era, but she is a different Daiyu:
beautiful and talented, but not so sorrowful, so helpless.

.
With countless Dream of the Red Chamber fanfics of every kind out there today, here are my reasons for asking you to open my Daiyu fanfic:
. . First: The “difficulty level” of the challenges Daiyu faces remains unchanged. I won't alter any of the difficulties Daiyu might encounter in the original Dream of the Red Chamber. No characters absent from the original will appear in this story, such as siblings or lovers. I'll do my best to recreate a new life for Daiyu within the same “harsh” circumstances as the original, and let this Daiyu change her life little by little through her own efforts.
. . Second: The story will adhere closely to the original. Every person, object, scene, and plot point will strive to match the original, and I will avoid making it “amateurish” to the best of my ability. Nothing changes because someone suddenly becomes stupid; events simply take a different course because Daiyu is different.
. . Third: There will be no random golden fingers. Every change can be traced to a “seed” in the original. In other words, I'll only make use of the “plot holes” left behind by Cao Gong.
. . If anything goes against these three principles, please point it out promptly, and I'll correct it right away.
. . I hope my story gives you a different experience!
. .
. . When writing this story, I wanted to stay close to the original. But the work Cao Gong wrote has survived to this day as a Venus de Milo of the literary world, and the debates about it are no fewer than those about the smile of the Mona Lisa. To continue this fanfic, I have to find my own bearings amid all the conflicting opinions. So I often write separate bits of character speculation or explain my views on the original. These usually appear beneath the chapters under “Dream of the Red Chamber Speculation” or “A Word from the Author.” If they're longer, I put them in a separate piece called “Burial Flower Terrace.” If any fellow Dream of the Red Chamber fans happen to read my work, I'd be grateful if you'd leave a comment with your advice.
** All right, anyone want to add my story to their collection? Please click on the right, thank you! Please add this sleepyhead, “Xian Wo Yun Tian,” to your collection!
** Oh, and one more thing: I absolutely will not abandon this story~!!!!!!
Paid chapter announcement: This story officially became a paid novel on November 30, 2010. Since I decided to make it paid because I was “short on G, money, and silver,” I ask all my readers who love this story not to repost it. That way, I can keep writing carefully and earn enough to live without worrying about food and clothing. Thank you~~
Basically I have never written a negative review.
But I, a big bastard who started automatically renewing my subscription in 2010, accidentally discovered that I was still automatically renewing my subscription after ten years. The author shamelessly blocked time and updated 3,000 words every three months starting in 2019, just to be confused about V, and claimed that Ka Wen was serious and did not want to write silly and cool articles.
Even if you tell me directly that it is just because you don't understand that V needs to be updated every three months, I won't be so angry! I will unsubscribe directly without giving negative points!
Don't treat people like fools, okay? ?
It has been ten years, and the original work of Dream of Red Mansions has been written, but our article has not yet gotten to the point!
Ugh, the more I look at it, the more depressed I get. It's better to cancel the renewal
I just want to ask, is this article updated every six months or quarterly~
I just read this book and I'm not married yet. Now I've been divorced for 5 and a half years. Okay, I can update it.
It's really unbearable
If you don't want to write, then don't write.
Damn, I don't know how good it would be to say goodbye in 2009. This article is really something I've been writing until I forgot about it.
Oh my God, how many years has it been?
Sigh... This update is slow, the number of words is still small...
It's really inexplicable here. All of this happened just to slap Miaoyu, showing that Daiyu now has a backstage and can't bear the slightest injustice? In the book, although Miaoyu claims to be aloof, she's not a bad person, otherwise Daiyu wouldn't be friendly with her. Would she be subjected to such an insult? I feel like I haven't written in a long time, so many places have changed.
