Teaming Up

This is a very unusual old story. Neither its subject matter nor its plot development fits into any clear category, and I don't know what to do with it, so I might as well toss it onto Jinjiang.

It's short, only twenty thousand words. I took a little inspiration from the ending of Yang Jian's storyline in the 2005 TV series Lotus Lantern. It's about a female demon and Yang Jian, who has fallen on hard times, living as ordinary people in the human world.

Maybe I'll expand on the backstory if I have time. These characters might also show up again in a future story.

Just give it a read. I really don't know what else to do with this one.

Theme: Flow eastward.
