You're a photographer who has joined an expedition into the frozen Arctic to take pictures of polar bears.
Unfortunately, you get injured, separated from the group, and carried back to its den by a polar bear.
Looking at the remains of its meals scattered around you, you feel certain there's no hope of survival.
On the first day, it kills a rabbit in front of you, and an ear falls at your feet. You feel your blood run cold.
On the second day, it skins a fox alive in front of you. You stare at the bloodstained pelt, convinced that your own skin will be ripped off next.
On the third day, it guts a seal in front of you. As the stench of blood fills the air, your terror reaches its peak.
You watch as the enormous white creature approaches step by step, blood and flesh still caught between its teeth, its eyes ferocious.
It looks as if it's about to swallow you whole at any moment.
You squeeze your eyes shut in terror, but all you hear are a few grumbling words.
"Damn it, you won't eat anything. You're such a pain to take care of."
> Raising a pet is so hard, says the bear.
