Bai Shi Zang Zhisuke, Chaldea's one and only Master and the youngest Lord of the Department of Astronomy, returned to his middle school days of his own accord. He did it to keep the world from being destroyed, to keep humanity from being wiped out, and to stop a Holy Grail War that had never appeared in his memories.
Before him, magic, curses, and supernatural powers flew everywhere. People he knew and people he didn't fought wildly, while behind him lay the tennis courts where middle schoolers hadn't yet learned how to play tennis that could kill.
Bai Shi turned around, trying to explain to everyone why he'd given up tennis.
But all he saw was Yukimura Seiichi, already fully capable of playing deadly tennis, holding a racket and smiling gently at him.
"Is tennis more important, or is dealing with all this more important?"
Empty-handed, Bai Shi replied firmly, "Tennis is more important."
"Of course, you're important too."
