[Genshin Impact] The Wind's Messenger Says She's Quitting

After leveling up to Lv. 99 and enduring all the iconic moments of Teyvat, a world-weary Traveler logs into an unnamed island and gets sent back to the starting village in one click by the sundial of time.

P.S.: Archon-limited edition

Looking at the storm-wreathed sky before her, the nameless sword from the starting village in her hand, and the cold meter steadily rising...

The Traveler, vaguely remembering that she was supposed to go home and find her brother: I'm screwed.

With no other choice, the Traveler sets out on a journey into the past to find a way home.

The Creator has lost their way in the past.

The Star of Yinghuo has yet to return to its place.

Twilight will come at last.

To find clues about the God of Time, the Traveler decides to start with the nearest Archon.

And so she proudly becomes a salaried priestess of the Anemo Archon.

Aside from having to report to a tall, lonely tower every day, her boss, the Lord of the Tower, gives her little work, pays well, and loves doing everything himself.

All she has to do is stand nearby and bask in her boss's divine might, then clock out early and earn some extra cash on side quests.

Apart from not understanding people's hearts, Decarabian is practically the perfect boss.

Then he dies.

Traveler: A priestess's job stays the same, but the Archon changes. Decarabian's gone. What does that have to do with me, a priestess of the Anemo Archon?

Paimon, far away: You're the worst! Traveler, you're the absolute worst!

But then the newly appointed Anemo Archon starts slacking off too.

The Traveler, left behind to work overtime at the Anemo Church: You're the worst! Barbatos, you're the absolute worst!

Then, while her new boss is slacking off, the Traveler jumps ship and runs away.

Barbatos, waking up from a nap: ?

Traveler: The Geo Archon offered way more.

Please, I just want to pull Barbatos, sob.

Theme: The king of slacking off will eventually become a god
