Having grown up surrounded by technology, I've always found it hard to believe in ghosts and monsters. Yet the bedtime stories I heard as a child were always full of strange tales and legends.
There's no helping it: old folks tend to be superstitious.
But one day, when I experienced it all firsthand, I sadly discovered that the very thing I could rely on was the feudal superstition I believed in least.
Then I realized I seemed to have been dragged into a huge conspiracy...

Some elements from the later volumes are selectively used. The plot direction and interpretation of the original borrow Nuan and Fox's puzzle-solving.
Lastly, the pairing is undecided... This story is a slow burn.
