Lu Minghe's talent makes the horror game select him as a candidate to become its GM.

To put him in his place, the System sends Lu Minghe into a beginner instance with a bug that makes it impossible to beat.

Unexpectedly, this turns out to be right up his alley!

Faced with a blood-soaked serial killer NPC, Lu Minghe gently pulls her into his arms. "You should get some rest too, sis. Leave the rest to me."

Beginner Instance: Night of Terror at the Haunted House, collapsed.

The System has lost a key instance, so it decides to teach Lu Minghe a lesson by throwing him into an intermediate instance. But then...

Surrounded by hideous ghost babies, Lu Minghe squats down and asks with a sunny smile, "Kids, I've got a head. Want to play a game where we toss heads around?"

"Yay! We love Daddy the most!"

Intermediate Instance: St. Mary's Maternity Hospital, collapsed.

The System decides to give up on this GM candidate and toss Lu Minghe into an escape instance to fend for himself. Who could have known...

Surrounded by ghosts and players, Lu Minghe rides on the shoulders of a sturdy man and easily breaks through, all the while chattering away: "Don't use violence. Win them over with love."

Players: "Thank you, Daddy, for saving our lives!"

Escape Instance: The Deadly Luxury Cruise, collapsed.

System: Lu Minghe, get me out of this bind and get lost! Wait, why does that man's program code look so familiar?

Damn! He's its former GM!

To protect his poor little heart, 002 secretly bribes the horror game and picks a player who looks kind and unassuming in advance.

He thinks he can stay away from ghosts and complete his training safely by following this player. But then...

Looking at the player he chose so carefully, 002 bursts into tears.

002: "Player, you've already completed the task. Please let these ghosts go. They're so pitiful..."

A certain player: "Pitiful? Didn't you just say they were scary?"
