[Honghuang] Nuwa's Resurrection Plan: An Adventurous Tale of Farming and Infrastructure-Building in a Mythological Setting. See below for the blurb.
Completed novel: "Poverty Alleviation Begins at the Myriad Worlds Station"
Blurb:
Yan Chu never intended to become a sect leader.
As a veteran player, she transmigrated into the game "Seeking Immortality" as an NPC nine years ago. Ever since discovering the game's "big secret," she has endured humiliation and bided her time, hoping to make money off the players by exploiting her information advantage once the game launched, while also giving her sect a helping hand.
After all, the old sect leader who took her as a disciple had shown her kindness, her senior brother was generous, and her junior disciples were adorable.
Who could have guessed that the day before launch, her honest senior brother would kick her out of the sect and lead the whole sect to join someone else?
Yan Chu: This is awkward.
After angrily founding a new sect, Yan Chu discovers that being a sect leader is hard, and being one who doesn't exploit players is even harder!
Yan Chu: QAQ Help! The players insist I exploit them. What do I do!
Q: What kind of person do you think Sect Leader Yan is?
Outer Sect Disciple Jiuyou: At first I thought the sect leader was only at the Golden Core stage, until I saw her kill a Nascent Soul cultivator in an instant! She also knows every art of weapon-refining and formation-crafting. No wonder she's the leader of a legendary hidden sect!
Inner Sect Disciple Nada'an: The sect leader gave me a new life. I want to make her proud!
Inner Sect Disciple Zixuan: Sect Leader Yan? Well... her outfit today is really special! Ahhh, Senior Brother is here!
Inner Sect Disciple Gu Jinghuan: …
Passing Black Snake Elder: Benefactor!
Inner Sect Disciple Gu Jinghuan: The sect leader is always picking up the strangest things.
Everyone in the Yanyuan Sect: ? We feel personally attacked.
Sect-building + game exploration
Fight monsters, level up, raise pets. No romance.
★ Honghuang mythology / a touch of Lovecraftian horror / grand adventures / tribal infrastructure-building / delicacies from the Classic of Mountains and Seas
★ A summons during an ancient ritual brought a modern soul together with an ancient body, making Xin Yue the daughter of the Yue clan chieftain, known as "Xin."
The Yue clan lives in a remote, desolate wilderness overseas. The sun here neither sets nor rises. Darkness swallows the daylight, and the world only awakens when the moon rises.
When the red moon rises, all things rise; when the blue moon rises, all things hide.
The wilderness is dangerous and barren, but the hardworking people of the Yue clan live in comfort and peace. That is, until a Bifang bird from the north shatters the quiet of the Moonlit Forest, and Xin Yue is swept into the magnificent currents of the Honghuang era...
★ The gods:
Moon Goddess Xian'e: Xin Yue is the last of my bloodline!
Fire God Zhurong: Xin Yue is the only comrade I trust!
Sea God Yuqiang: Xin Yue, my formidable foe, the enemy of the Four Seas!
Dayi: In archery, I am no match for Xin Yue!
Nuwa: Xin Yue, my confidante!
★ Xin Yue's Food Diary:
Zhi: It looks like a tiger with an ox's tail. Good grilled, but a little tough.
Xiqu: It looks like a green ox. You can grill it or stew it, but thin slices in hotpot are highly recommended!
Bingfeng: A two-headed black pig with no tail. One star.
Dang Kang: Incredibly delicious!
Ba Snake: Tough, with too many bones.
Feifei: A white civet. Kind of cute.
Planned as a million-character epic.
An original take on Honghuang, with many original elements.
Content notes: The pacing is slow, the male lead is a background character, and the female lead is both cool and good at fighting.
Theme: Working together to build a home.
The writing is actually good, and the plot is attractive enough to be read in one sitting. However, some paragraphs and chapters feel severely disconnected and incoherent. I was still talking about this thing before, but I changed a line or turned a page to talk about another thing. In the middle, I still have to rely on the readers to figure it out? This is the only one that obviously affects my reading experience. Everything else is pretty good.
I found out that it's all booked, so I'll look at it again next time I have time.
Hahahaha~ Why is the cat so stupid! Love him~
It would be better to put this episode at the front
I really like this story, a bit reluctant to let it go. In short, the flowers are finished!
Damn so cute, I really want to see the details of the rice dumpling competition
I watched it for three or four days in a row, and even stayed up for twenty-four hours without sleeping to finish it. I didn't really like it, but just wanted to know the "truth." In the end, I found out that it was nothing at all... It's hard to describe, and I don't know where to start. Let's give it a try. If you think the setting is novel or you just read it for fun, you may have started to feel disappointed after about a hundred chapters, so don't continue reading.
