[This is a planned Project Moon crossover fic. I've wanted to write it for years, but kept running into all kinds of problems. As of now (October 2024), the Project Moon universe is still expanding with updates to Limbus Company. I've thought it over for a long time and finally decided to wait until the setting is mostly complete before writing fanfiction.
I'll keep following news about Limbus Company and the other Project Moon games, and start the story once the universe is clearer. If there are any updates, I'll add them to the blurb. I'm very sorry.]
Durodus, 20, is a neuroscience student at Victoria Condoria University.
One day, he is trapped inside “Glass Window,” a device that observes parallel worlds, and begins his daily routine of playing an Abnormality in various worlds.
In Parallel World A, he sees Gojo, a super-genius physics student, become the strongest in the world in the literal, physical sense.
5t5: “Geto, that one over there is an ultra-rare specimen. Take some time to capture it.”
Geto: “?”
Durodus: “?”
Tengen: “What do you intend to do to my shikigami!?”
In Parallel World B, he sets off on a journey home alongside someone who looks like an adult but was only born three years ago.
Kind-hearted Russian: “Do you want a home?”
Σ: “I...”
Durodus: “Don't go. He has an Aleph-level Abnormality.”
In Parallel World C, he witnesses the hope of an entire Kurta clan, who are both archaeologists and finance students, become avengers and go after a group that should have been a world-famous theater troupe but is now an extremely evil band of thieves.
Izenabi: “You can't manifest a sword that can cut through anything.”
Kurapika: “But Durodus gave me this.” (Takes out a Mimicry greatsword.)
After journeying through one world after another, Durodus changes his attitude toward life. He builds a library inside “Glass Window,” intending to give up his human identity and exist as an observer of the world.
However, a certain conductor suddenly barges in and stops him.
“I really want to know...”
“At the end of the script, will the color that stains you be violet, or azure?”
* The first chapter will be in first person; the rest will be in third person.
* Durodus's name is taken from the name of the purported author of the heroic epic The Song of Roland.
* A mountain of headcanon! If it makes you uncomfortable, please leave. Thank you!
