On a hilltop on Xizhu Mountain, two figures were talking. "They say there's a Ghost Lord in Qingya Mountain, staying for a time in Ghost Valley. The Ghost Lord is known by the grand name 'Green Lantern, Rippling Shadow.'" "How come I've never heard of this...?" "That's because the Ghost Lord is almost impossible to find. The only way to tell if he's appeared is to smear cinnabar on the traces he leaves on the ground. If pale moon-white will-o'-the-wisps appear, then he's been there." "That Ghost Lord does have a sense of humor..." the young martial artist sighed admiringly, barely able to make out the old man's face in the fading light. "That's because those amusing footprints are made of his blood. The blood of him and the fiends of the world's purgatory." The mad-looking old man seemed to be reminiscing, or perhaps deliberately showing off in his twilight years that he'd once seen the Ghost Lord and lived to tell the tale. The young man didn't notice that beneath the old man's feet lay a pale, moon-white will-o'-the-wisp. The old man smiled. Just as he'd expected. Suddenly, the old man opened his eyes wide and pitched forward. The young man stared in terror at the person emerging from behind him. The dim glazed lamp cast a prismatic glow like a flower of wisdom, faintly illuminating his face. In his hand, he held a shard of glass dripping with blood. The man stood tall and graceful, yet the next moment, he took the young man's life. Notes: #CP breakup, CP: Wen Kexing# #This story will not be abandoned.
