For certain reasons, Gu Guimu left Gu Feng when they were children. The gong had always liked Gu Guimu, even though he didn't realize it was love. After the shou left, the gong gradually understood his feelings and fell deeper and deeper in love while Gu Guimu was away. Later, the gong runs into him and begins his quest to win him back. The story uses flashbacks, so the timeline might get a little confusing.

Note: By incest, I mean people who are blood relatives falling in love. In their world, homosexuality is not discriminated against, and they can legally marry. Gu Guimu likes Gu Feng too and accepts his yandere side, so there's no rejection or anything like that! Gu Guimu is an optimist. In their world, same-sex couples can have children.
