#A seemingly highbrow synopsis (hints at the plot)
People never imagined
that once the sky went dark,
it would never grow light again.
They say their ancestors betrayed Them. The people sank slowly into a deep, muddy mire, waiting in despair. They murmured,
"They won't come back..."
Perhaps they were not wrong. They had turned toward the light, only to be left with memories of it.
One day, the light began to return. Was it a conspiracy, or forgiveness?
#Plot synopsis
This is a transmigration story wrapped around a grand overarching plot.
The ultimate purpose of every world is tied to the main plot.
During his first transmigration, the protagonist chose to transmigrate in his physical body. He never chose that again, because he met a madman.
Were those annoying random drops really random?
The second time, he transmigrated into another person's body. His memories would only awaken when he faced a life-or-death crisis, with a fatality probability of over 90 percent.
Fortunately, he "died" early. He was a prince, ambitious and on the verge of seizing the throne.
An Yin: "..." No, I don't want to. Wouldn't it be nice to live as a wealthy, carefree prince?
After a struggle, he ended up becoming emperor anyway. He looked down at the tottering empire and fell silent.
Fine. He had to strengthen the country and guard against the neighboring states coveting it. He was born to toil!
Then he suddenly discovered that the ruler of one neighboring country was that very madman!

------The synopsis has been revised. I'm lazy, so I've only written part of the plot. The pairing isn't decided yet. We'll see which one gets the most support.
Theme: Always turn toward the light
