The Demon Lord Has a Wicked Little Hat

A Venerable Immortal who lives to make others feel good x a deranged, black-bellied Demon Lord who can switch back to being pure and innocent

The immortal Su Ruohuai accidentally killed her original body while messing around, and got bound to a System that helps terrible cultivators on their path to immortality.

As long as she makes her Host feel good, she can speedrun ascension and return to her original body.

After half a month of effort, the population of the three realms had plummeted, and her Host's time to ascension had gone from 900 years down to 480.

Then the Demon Lord discovered her and carried her back to his cave abode.

"You're pretty capable. From now on, you're with me."

Pei Yanshen, the Demon Lord, has a split personality. With his hat on, he's refined, gentle, and quite humane. Without it, he's a totally unhinged madman who once tied up everyone who had bullied Su Ruohuai and brought them back to his cave abode.

He handed her a knife. "Here, chop off whatever you want."

His two personalities do their own thing. Apart from both wanting to claim Su Ruohuai as their own, they have almost nothing in common, and often stab each other in the back to compete for her affection.

He and Su Ruohuai were married 800 years ago, but he only recently remembered to pursue his wife.

"The male lead's daily life"

Pei Yanshen: Huh, what's this? A hat. I'll put it on. TvT, I miss Su Ruohuai so much...

(Takes it off) Huh, what's this? A hat. I'll put it on...

"The male lead's daily life after his true identity is exposed"

Pei 1: I'll keep her company.

Pei 2: She said she wanted me to keep her company.

Pei 1: She can't tell us apart.

Pei 2: Are you fucking kidding me?

(Their two souls are fighting...)

Other little demons: I'm begging you.

*Both leads are virgins, and both of the male lead's souls love only the female lead.

*The female lead works through missions at first. The male lead splits off one soul to accompany her as she cultivates immortality, so he has few scenes. After his identity is exposed, it's sweet, satisfying romance all the way~
