Divider for This Novel’s Blurb
This novel and Chasing the Light share the same male and female leads. The story is independent, though, and takes place during their school years.
Blurb:
Youth never seems to change. There’s always a boy who makes one summer unforgettable.
A wild horse, cast aside by the world, bows his head to her.
=:
Outside the school discipline office.
Lin Jiashu started to flick her forehead, but changed course at the last moment and ruffled the top of her soft hair twice. “Aren’t you usually so quick with your words? Why didn’t you talk back just now?”
Her voice was muffled. “I explained, but they didn’t believe me.”
Lin Jiashu’s low voice softened, with a hint of coaxing. “Ignore them. They’re all idiots.”
For the first time, she actually felt wronged.
Really, really wronged.
=:
In front of the dormitory building.
Lin Jiashu said, “If you really want to thank me, how about calling me big brother?”
Meng Lichu first thought she’d misheard him and froze. She studied his face for a moment, then asked suspiciously, “Are you sick?”
“...Do I look sick?”
Meng Lichu threw the question back at him. “Don’t you?”
“...”
=:
That night, outside Meng Lichu’s home.
“Meng Lichu, do you even have a heart?”
Lin Jiashu’s low, raised-voice accusation sounded like youth’s final cry.
“Poor people have no hearts. They only chase fame and fortune.”
She spoke coldly. “Your affection is nothing but a nuisance to me, so please stop bothering me from now on, and disappear from my life for good!”
Lin Jiashu curled his lips in self-mockery. “Fine. As you wish.”
Later on.
She saw a comment beneath a post on her Weibo account, which she hadn’t updated in a long time.
Tu Tu Wan: [What happened after that? What became of Miss Meng and Mr. Lin?]
Someone answered for her.
Miss Meng’s Mr. Lin: [Later, Miss Meng became Mrs. Lin, and the mother of a son and a daughter.]
Sharp-tongued top student x violent delinquent

My next novel, Submission, is open for pre-orders.
Blurb:
The night she got drunk, alcohol burned away her reason. She stood in front of Shen Yaowen and said:
“Do you want to be my boyfriend?”
Shen Yaowen gazed at her for half a second, then lifted a hand to tuck the loose strands of hair stuck to her face behind her ear. His eyes held a languid look.
“Have you made up your mind?”
She replied, “Mm. I have.”
//
People said Shen Yaowen’s girlfriends were all subject to the 2.5-month “I really do love him” rule. None of his relationships lasted longer than two and a half months. They usually ended after two months, sometimes even sooner.
He and He Zhiyi dated for four months, but they still broke up in the end.
He Zhiyi was the one who called it off. Nobody knew why, and even Shen Yaowen himself never figured it out.
//
He Zhiyi never thought she’d see him again, or perhaps she never thought she’d see him again like this.
When she saw him again, she didn’t get red-eyed like in the books, or blush. Her heart simply gave an involuntary jolt when she saw him, just like the first time she met him when they were young.
“Can you give me another chance?”
The proud boy seemed to have finally learned how to be humble. “Even if I’m just your backup choice.”
//: The first time I like someone, could you teach me how?, Shen Yaowen
//: I was secretly in love for so long. I want the ending to be a dignified one., He Zhiyi
※ Important ※ Shen Yaowen has quite a history with women.

Theme: Youth is truly romantic
Looking forward to more perfect works
The comments I read were all from three years ago. I'm probably the last one to read them.
It looks good, I want to see the male protagonist study hard haha
Did the male protagonist not recognize the female protagonist?
Hahahaha, it seems that all teaching directors are the same
Big support for the author, it's very interesting and I really like it
