Without Qin Chi, Lin Chu's life had been bright, with endless promise. Then Qin Chi changed everything. During the two years he stole away, Lin Chu experienced a peace and simplicity he'd never known before. But one day, pounding sounds came from the door, each one striking a nerve and making Lin Chu tremble with fear. He knew the person outside was Qin Chi, the man who terrified him just to think about.
Qin Chi ruined Lin Chu's hands, destroyed his future, and snuffed out the light in his life. Whenever Lin Chu remembers the days he spent with Qin Chi two years ago, he's overwhelmed by despair and pain. In the end, Lin Chu stands by the window in front of Qin Chi, closes his eyes, and jumps.
