Looking across the entire Glory scene, Battle Mages and Sharpshooters aren't exactly rare, but professional players who are well-rounded in every way are few and far between. Just as the whole Alliance was at its wit's end, a rookie All-Star match saw Lin Xishi, who hadn't debuted yet, team up with Qiu Fei for an ordinary match as the Gun King's ordinary protégé

And so, rookie trainee Lin Xishi, who hadn't debuted at the time, and Excellent Era's young captain, Qiu Fei, had an extraordinary encounter at the Alliance headquarters.

Ever since Lin Xishi teamed up with Qiu Fei across teams, Zhou Zekai and Jiang Botao have increasingly felt that there was something strange about her.

She used to go out with all kinds of friends, but ever since that incident, she'd been in frequent contact with Qiu Fei. His name came up constantly whenever Lin Xishi spoke, and Zhou Zekai found it more and more suspicious. Could his disciple be dating Qiu Fei?

Picking an auspicious day, Jiang Botao invited Lin Xishi out and gave her a speech about how friendship needed to be shared around, how she was spending too much time with that guy and her other friends might get jealous, and how she should meet up with her other friends more often, like Qing Zirou from Blue Rain or Song Qiying from Tyranny.

Lin Xishi hesitated, then said, "But Xiao Rou and Captain Xiao Song are dating, so I don't want to bother them. Besides, Brother Jiang, that guy I told you about is the one I love."

Jiang Botao: ?

Jiang Botao said, "You two are dating? Why didn't you tell us?"

Lin Xishi was even more confused. "Didn't you already know? Qiu Fei said you knew we were going on dates. Otherwise, why would you keep letting us go out together?" (well-behaved)

Jiang Botao... Jiang Botao fainted. And while still in a daze, he agreed to let the only girl on the team date someone, who happened to be the captain of a rival team.

Nobody noticed Zhou Zekai's trench coat peeking out from behind the door. Having learned so much in such a short time, the broad-minded southern man, Captain Zhou, wrote down his grudge on his phone with enough force to crack the screen:

Year X, Month X, Day X: Qiu Fei, stealing my cabbage.

2. The setting is cross-team partners, a secret trump card trained specifically for the World Championship.
