[Three Kingdoms] A Fake Yunmei Meets the Real Zilong

Jiang Yan never imagined that one day he would chase his idol all the way back to ancient times. He even arrived in the past wearing the avatar of his idol, who could reach max level and mow down enemies in his game. The chance to make a name for himself and be remembered for generations was right in front of him! But the ideal was glorious while reality was harsh. Outside the city, the battle cries shook the heavens; bones covered the ground, and blood flowed like rivers. Jiang Yan sneaked up onto the city wall at night for a look around. The very next day, he quickly packed up and decided to leave. Why bother fighting? Wouldn't a quiet life in seclusion be better? But then... Zhao Yun: Please wait, sir. Jiang Yan: ... Zhao Yun: You possess unparalleled talent and extraordinary martial skill. Yet today the flames of war consume the land, and the people are trapped in misery. To retreat into seclusion at a time like this would be like hiding a precious pearl away. It is no wise plan. Jiang Yan: ... I-I'll stay, all right? Establish a heart for Heaven and Earth, establish a way of life for the people, continue the lost teachings of past sages, and bring peace to all generations. Zhang Zai, Song Dynasty "It was a powerful and proud age, when the people lived in peace and the land was prosperous. Its valiant generals were like eagles, driving the Xiongnu hundreds of miles away. Its upright officials were willing to die for their country, holding fast to their principles. At the height of its power, the empire's capital was called Chang'an." Note: The idol is Zhao Yun, but he is not the romantic pairing. The nickname "Yunmei" comes from Dynasty Warriors. If you want to know more about it, take a look at Zhao Yun's character model in Dynasty Warriors 6. Theme: Establish a heart for Heaven and Earth, and establish a way of life for the people.
