[Mermaid Melody] Between Cloud and Sea

While other mermaids rescued victims from shipwrecks, Ainizier was swept onto a beach in a storm and rescued by a little girl. She became a mermaid kept in captivity.

Her new family was very kind, except for the thing inside the little girl that kept clamoring to absorb her every day.

Mikael: I'm a god! I don't need love!!

Ainizier: (pats him, hugs him, and smiles)

In the end, the mermaid princess doesn't end up with a prince, but with a winged god.

The clouds and the ocean floor, keeping each other company.

A proud, chuuni, breathtaking ancient human x a physics-loving mermaid who has mastered the art of sweet talk

Before reading, please note:

Mary Sue, OOC.

Mikael is genderless in the original, but I've made him male in this story.

I didn't mean to, but I don't know why I always write Hai Dou this way. Please go easy on the Hai Dou fans.

Since this is an older series, some plot points may be a bit melodramatic.

There are still singing scenes in the story. I've tried really hard to make them not awkward.

This was inspired by rewatching a childhood series and finding the villain so beautiful I had to write about him. It should be a short-to-medium-length story, around 50,000 words.

Theme: Love is a hymn to life
