Stop Plucking or You'll Go Bald!

[Complete]

Hua Mi is a little princess of the demon race, born to a noble family and doted on by her parents.

Her life is smooth sailing. If there's one thing that bothers her most,

it's her fiance, Zong Yu, the Crown Prince of the Celestial Race.

Zong Yu is astonishingly talented,

with cultivation that defies the heavens and unmatched skill in both letters and arms.

He's the quintessential perfect child, the nightmare of countless younglings.

And Hua Mi has it worst of all.

The two were betrothed as children,

so whenever people mention Zong Yu, they always add a comment about Hua Mi:

"Oh, that little flower demon? Her talent may be mediocre, but she was born on a lucky day. If she hadn't been born at the exact same year, month, day, and hour as him, a coincidence that only happens once in countless millennia, how could someone like her ever marry Zong Yu?"

Hua Mi, fuming, went to break off the engagement with Zong Yu.

The usually stern and composed young prince showed a dark, frightening expression for the first time. His fingers, resting on her head, tightened uncontrollably, and he accidentally plucked off one of her leaves.

Zong Yu: "..."

Hua Mi: "..."

She trembled as she touched the tender leaves on her head. She'd had a four-leaf clover, but he'd plucked it down to three leaves.

Hua Mi was heartbroken. "Wah, I'm going to be plucked bald..."

Theme: Even in adversity, keep striving with optimism and self-reliance.
