[Harry Potter] Hecate's Silence

Perhaps she had been born to be alone.

Hecate once thought so too.

Until she met her own "salvation."

"Don't follow me, Hecate."

Twelve-year-old Draco raised his chin nearly to the sky, warning the little girl behind Theodore like a tiny snake hissing with its tongue out. The girl shrank back, then spoke with surprising confidence.

"I'm not following you. I'm following my brother."

"Then you'd better spend your whole life following your brother around and crying behind him!"

Draco practically snorted the words out, his tone arrogant and boastful. Hecate silently put a big X next to Draco's name in her mind.

Thirteen-year-old Draco, looking thoroughly miserable, held the bandage on his arm and stared out the Hospital Wing window at the little girl downstairs in the courtyard, studying with Theodore. Draco felt completely aggrieved.

"...Theodore must be behind this. Why else would Hecate always ignore me?"

The male lead is a little dragon, and he pursues the heroine. The second male lead is tentatively the diary. The story may be a slow burn, and I'll add some original plotlines without straying from the source material.
