When I opened my eyes, I was in a quarantined hospital.
It was the year 2136, but my memories stopped seven years ago.
I asked around and learned that zombies had appeared in this world. Then I found out I'd been in a car accident. Then I learned that I'd actually lost my memory.
At least the epidemic had been brought under control and things were gradually improving.
But then someone told me there was a human traitor in the quarantine zone.
Before the quarantine zone could be reopened, its defenses were deliberately sabotaged. Countless zombies, no one knew where they had come from, surged into the zone like a tide.
I joined the remaining survivors as we made our way to Quarantine Zone 6, where there was still hope of survival.
Outside was a wasteland, with zombies lurking in the shadows and waiting to strike.
Worse still, innocent people were suddenly dying without anyone noticing. Only then did people realize that some unknown creature was controlling the zombies behind the virus.
A few things to know before reading:
1. Includes sci-fi elements.
2. The biology, including the virus and parasites, is all made up.
3. There will be plenty of made-up biological mutations.
4. A two-faced, hypocritically kind, long-haired beauty of an attacker, and a mysterious, socially awkward tech geek with an unknown past, a lazy streak, heart disease, and amnesia as the recipient.
5. The story may alternate between first and third person.
