Hoarding Resources in an Infinite Game

Yu Xingchi dies young and is selected to enter an infinite survival game. The difficulty of each instance isn't important. What matters is that this lousy game is like a ruthless capitalist: it gives him too little time to rest and too few points, and on top of that, it keeps siphoning away his points at every turn. The miser won't stand for it! After getting a cute little cat house that's also a huge eater, Yu Xingchi is thrilled! The game siphons his points, so he siphons the game's flowers and trees, its rivers and seas, its mountains and soil. After fleecing the NPCs, he goes after the bosses, and he doesn't even spare the chickens they raise! The infinite game, robbed blind: ... A sick-in-the-head bottom x a top who seems normal Note: The original blurb for this story was about a dream-eating tapir bottom in the form of an orange cat x a nightmare top in the form of a black cat. Last year or the year before, I said I wouldn't start posting until I had the whole story written, and then... nothing happened. I went to help my older sister take care of her kid. I wrote a little here and there while I was there, revised it several times, then abandoned all of it. I don't know if the problem was with the premise or if my writing was just too awful. Anyway, what I ended up writing was a weird, fatherly stalker top... A fatherly top, sure. A stalker top, sure. A fatherly stalker top, no way, no way! Dumbledore shakes his head.jpg So in the end I gave up on that story and changed the blurb, the protagonists, and everything else. I dug up the old draft, and only the first instance was relatively complete, so I put it in a short-story collection and then tried adapting it as an instance in this story. That's pretty much it. Sorry, everyone. I'm a serial abandoner, sob. Lie flat.jpg Theme: Be thrifty and build your fortune!
