Classmate, First Place Is Mine

On the first day of the new semester in their second year at Mingde No. 4 High School, a cold and aloof transfer student arrived. Lin Mu didn't think much of it at first.

Heard the guy was a top student transferring from No. 1 High School. Who would have thought that in his very first midterms at No. 4, he'd knock Lin Mu off his throne as the perennial top scorer?

Lin Mu: I got 699.

Zhou Gu: I got 702.

Lin Mu: That's fine. Next time, I'll be number one for sure!

From then on, he became a permanent runner-up, always one step behind Zhou Gu.

Fine, his grades were better. Fine, he always sank three-pointers. But he wanted to get on top of him too?! That was too much to tolerate! Lin Mu decided to bet on himself.

Lin Mu: If I score higher than you on the final, then you... (He whispered something.)

Zhou Gu fell silent, his expression unreadable.

Lin Mu: And if you score higher than me, then I'll... we'll switch! How's that?

Before Lin Mu could even react, Zhou Gu clamped a hand over his mouth.

Zhou Gu: Fine. Deal.

Then the scores came out...

Later:

Lin Mu: Forget it. Being the one on the bottom is pretty nice, actually.

A beautiful top with a cool, gentle exterior and impressive fighting skills (Zhou Gu) × A sunny, gentle bottom who never really wanted to top him in the first place (Lin Mu)

P.S.

(1) The top has an ex listed on his profile.

(2) Both are top students.

(3) A sugary-sweet happy ending, with plenty of lovey-dovey moments.
