[Xie Ping] Defying Fate

After their trip to the Queen Mother of the West's Palace, Wu Xie realizes that "It" is dragging him toward an unknown darkness.

Zhang Qiling is unconscious in the hospital. The world seems peaceful, but danger lurks everywhere.

Wu Xie returns to the Golmud Sanatorium to recover Zhang Qiling's most tragic memories. He is determined to defy fate and change the destiny controlled by the Nine Gates and "It," Zhang Qiling's fate of bearing a heavy burden, and the fate of a world that has already reached its end.

1. The pairing in this story is Wu Xie x Zhang Qiling. No switching or reversing the pairing.

2. This is fanfiction based on The Grave Robbers' Chronicles and its sequel series. However, the initial inspiration came from the TV series Ultimate Note, particularly the part where the main characters return to Beijing from the Queen Mother of the West's Palace and help the Bottle Boy recover his memories, so the story will inevitably be influenced by the show. If you dislike the show or insist on keeping the books and TV series separate, this story may not be for you.

3. No major characters will die.

4. This story will not have a bad ending.

5. I can't update daily, so I recommend letting chapters build up before reading.
