My Nemesis Says I Played Him

His nemesis, Qin Qian, gets into a car accident, but the doctor asks Luo Zhouzhou to come to the hospital to pick him up.

Full of suspicion, Luo Zhouzhou arrives and discovers that Qin Qian seems to have been knocked silly.

He's convinced he's the scum gong from some scum shou and jerk gong novel, and that the scum shou is none other than Luo Zhouzhou himself.

Qin Qian [puppy eyes]: Zhouzhou, I got into a car accident for you. Won't you look back at me? QAQ

Doctor [shocked]: Mr. Luo, I never expected you to...

Luo Zhouzhou [rubbing his forehead]: Wait, we're enemies...

Qin Qian [eyes lighting up]: Fated lovers!

After being followed home, Luo Zhouzhou realizes he can't shake off the Qin-shaped tail:

When he goes to bed, Qin Qian squats pitifully at the foot of it, warming his feet with heartfelt devotion.

When he goes to work, Qin Qian looks at his luxurious office, clenching the construction-site hard hat in his hands and feeling ashamed of his humble origins.

When he goes out of town on business with a friend surnamed Song, Qin Qian tearfully demands, "Do I not love you enough? Am I really no match for the moonlight in your heart?!"

Song: Moonlight? Is there really such a thing?

Luo Zhouzhou clutches the script of a story about an honest, humble construction worker who moves to the city and falls for a wealthy, frivolous young master, and weeps (because Qin Qian is driving him crazy).

Qin Qian happily gnaws on his bare shoulder, huffing and puffing.

Only much later does Luo Zhouzhou understand that what you think is love grown over time may actually be love at first sight that someone has been plotting for ages.
