The first time Murong Luo saw him was at Kyoto's famous Nightshade gay bar. He sat on the darkest sofa, staring at the drink in his hand with reddened eyes, while two alluring men draped themselves over his shoulders.
The second time they met, he was in the penthouse presidential suite of the Shihao Hotel, pinning an unconscious man to the sofa and doing something he had long fantasized about.
The third time was at a Gu family banquet, in the bathroom of the Gu family mansion. He was sprawled against the sink, clothes disheveled and eyes unfocused, one hand below his waist as he let out a few nasal murmurs of "Big Brother."
From the moment the idea occurred to him to the moment he acted on it, Murong Luo took only three seconds. Then he locked the door, walked over, tilted his head up, and reached out. It all fell into place.
Gu Zhiyun was Kyoto's number one young master, the illegitimate son of Kyoto's richest man, acknowledged at the age of seventeen and the Gu family's only legitimate heir. He was also a notorious homosexual with a brother complex. His moods were unpredictable, and he was reckless and arrogant. Everyone who saw him stayed well out of his way.
Later, the young master married. His wife was a woman named Murong Luo.
Everyone lamented, "She must be a poor surrogate, married to a gay man like that."
Not long afterward.
"Have you heard? That Murong Luo just married into a rich family, and the very next day she took a bunch of people to kick the crap out of her relatives who'd bullied her. She even threw money at her deadbeat dad."
"That's not all. The young master of the Gu family actually fell out with the older brother of the lover he used to be madly in love with, all for her!"
"Wow, the news just came in. Young Master Gu bought every piece of jewelry at the auction and said he was taking it home to make his wife happy!"
Everyone: ???? Isn't he gay? Wasn't this supposed to be a story about a rich family's convenient pawn? How did it turn into a story about a wife being doted on?!
Murong Luo: Sigh, I only meant to borrow a little clout and throw my weight around. I didn't mean to take things this far.
(P.S. To be clear: both leads are virgins, and this is a one-on-one romance. Our male lead is pure and hasn't slept with anyone, so don't let my terrifying blurb scare you.)
