The Goofy CEO Picked Up the Wrong Palace Intrigue System

After a car accident, Huo Yunchi woke up to find a palace-intrigue System by his side. Originally, after his death, he would transmigrate to an ancient imperial palace as a consort, use the palace-intrigue System to scheme and fight his way to the throne of Empress, then outlive the Emperor and become Empress Dowager. But a bug in the System left him in the modern world. He still had to complete the palace-intrigue System's tasks, or it would run out of energy and Huo Yunchi would die. Fine, then. How hard could palace intrigue be? Huo Yunchi was a domineering coal tycoon CEO who had built his business from nothing. What did he have to fear? But he hadn't expected the palace-intrigue System to have one more requirement: find the Emperor who would be his target. But where could you find an Emperor in modern society? The System's three-day deadline was almost up. If he couldn't find the Emperor, he was as good as dead. Huo Yunchi crouched in despair by the side of the road, when suddenly a pleasant System voice rang in his ears. [Ding! Target locked! Favorability System activated. Host, begin winning him over as soon as possible!] [Xu Hanjiang favorability: 60. (This is hilarious. What silly thing is CEO Huo up to today?)] Huo Yunchi looked up and found that it was none other than his nemesis, CEO Xu, Xu Hanjiang, who loved to mock and prank him whenever they met!!! Xu Hanjiang smiled. “CEO Huo, long time no see.” Huo Yunchi stared at his freshly assigned target and felt his mind go blank. [Ding! Xu Hanjiang favorability: 57. (Huh? CEO Huo didn't make an excuse to avoid him today. Last time he said the cesspit at home had exploded, the time before that he said his cat had an upset stomach, and the time before that...)] [Ding! Favorability has dropped to 50. (Ha! This world is so boring. Let's destroy it. CEO Huo, his source of happiness, isn't even paying attention to him anymore.)] [Favorability has dropped to 30. (Not happy. CEO Huo isn't coming to comfort him.)] Huo Yunchi: ??? What the hell is that scheming, cunning, black-hearted nemesis Xu Hanjiang thinking? Couple: Huo Yunchi, silly CEO bottom × Xu Hanjiang, cunning and devious top Theme: Independence and self-reliance
